Well I have been to Warsaw and Cracow in Poland and have compared the club experience there and in China.

Chinese clubs were flashier no doubt but it was more fun in Poland. The drinks in Chinese clubs were mixed with water and they even used Wyborowa Vodka to do so!

Well Chinese people do have fun but they have the concept of Face which means they do not want to "embarass" themselves. They are shy and timid and that is what makes it more boring.

The service in China is outstanding something that is alien to a European like me. I am not used to the fact that there are people that are around each table eager to serve you. I think that is the biggest difference between Europe and Asia. Service or Dienstleistung as the German would say

i went to a number of chinese club here in shanghai..i almost killed my self afterward..i love chinese people, dont get me wrong, but i think"having fun" is not something that is writtien in their dictionary.they cant dance, all they do is jump up and down, basically they dance the way they walk on the street everyday.
one good thing is the alcohol is cheaper than other western style clubs but you have to be careful.once i went to this club called BOnbon.i heard later they sell fae/alcohol mixed with water.i prefer to pay or spend 5000rmb a night just to have fun,,as long as i dont have to go through that experience again

Ironically, I found the clubs in Shanghai (the "Western ones") to actually be more techno music than RnB/HipHop which I was quite happy about since it was something I could actually /dance/ to.

Well of course Chinese night clubs are awesome and the best part is the cheap Tsingtao usually for 15 - 20 Kuai a bottle. The atmosphere is different and the crowd is hyped.

In the "western clubs" the music is more familiar with RnB and HipHop mixed with some classics that Westerners can relate too. Still it isn't as fun and the Chinese people seem bored at those clubs and just sit there drinking their 50 kuai beer and stare at the Go Go dancers.

I know that Chinese clubs are considered clubs for peasants. But who said peasants cant party?

I have concur and say that it was quite an experience to go to a Chinese club in Shanghai where most foreigners did not go. You really get to hear some amazing music otherwise and get a better feel for what Chinese nightlife is like rather than through Western-populated clubs.
