New Luggage Bag

When I arrived the taxi driver from the airport the driver threw my bag into the trunk and smashed the bottom to pieces. I didn’t notice this until after I arrived at the place of residence and have forgotten all about this until recently. It was in an unusable condition.
A few days I go to the shoefixer to get my bag fixed. It’s a Samsonite, bought in the US for $100 USD. The shoefixer went looking for materials and told me later that he’d need 120 CNY ($19 USD) to fix it.
I went out and found a place selling luggage bags, and got myself a new one. A fake Samsonite bag of decent quality for $22 USD. And then I went back and got my broken one and took it home. So now I’ve got a broken bag here. It cost $100 USD, so it’s a pity to just throw it away…
