Good to hear, but I bet it was more expensive in Hong-Kong. I also agree to what you wrote; China is definitely becoming a more and more interesting place to live.

Carl,

I experienced this in Hong Kong! I decided to get a quick haircut, my last night in Lai Kwai Fong - HK.
It was most definately the best haircut I ever got in my life. I think there were 5 hairdressers attending to this haircut at the same time. I was kinda shocked at first! But it just goes to show that China and Hong Kong SAR are becoming the new fashionable place to be in the 21st century.

Well, I really didn't experience this in Beijing... Beijing was OK, they washed your hair before and after cutting, but no massage.

Here, it's normal for people go to the hairdressers for a headmassage.

this is pretty much true at any place you go for a haircut in China...Its definitely an experience, though sometimes it can get annoying as a quick jot for a haircut turns into a 2 hour process...
