Hairdressing in Zhuhai Rocks
If you ever visit South China, you’ve got to try the hairdressers here. They are just so much better than in other cities.
The special thing is, when you first arrive, they first take you to wash your hair and massage your upper body for around half an hour. During the massage, they will place hot towels under your neck and on your forehead and even help you clean your inner ear. After the massage, they proceed as usual by cutting your hair, rinsing it, drying it and applying some gel.
This costs 25 CNY, which translates to less than $4 USD.

this is pretty much true at any place you go for a haircut in China…Its definitely an experience, though sometimes it can get annoying as a quick jot for a haircut turns into a 2 hour process…

Well, I really didn’t experience this in Beijing… Beijing was OK, they washed your hair before and after cutting, but no massage.
Here, it’s normal for people go to the hairdressers for a headmassage.

I experienced this in Hong Kong! I decided to get a quick haircut, my last night in Lai Kwai Fong – HK.
It was most definately the best haircut I ever got in my life. I think there were 5 hairdressers attending to this haircut at the same time. I was kinda shocked at first! But it just goes to show that China and Hong Kong SAR are becoming the new fashionable place to be in the 21st century.

Good to hear, but I bet it was more expensive in Hong-Kong. I also agree to what you wrote; China is definitely becoming a more and more interesting place to live.
