Goals During My Time In Zhuhai

August 17, 2007 | Author: Carl Pei | Filed under: Zhuhai, Personal

I’m planning to work a lot on the internet, and reach a monthly income of at least $1,500 USD per month before I leave.

I am going to befriend 10 people, some to cure temporary boredom, and some valuable ones to keep contact with.

I got a gym card in Beijing, and worked out quite a lot. The results were very encouraging, so I’m going to continue bettering my body.

I’d like to learn how to drive, so that it will save me some money off driving lessons back in Sweden where I’m going to get my license.

Not to forget; to learn how to cook. This will come in handy later during my university life in Sweden. My vision is to not need to eat instant noodles more than 4 times a week.

This stay will help me improve my self discipline and help me really know myself better. I now have to wash my own clothes, manage my diet, and also pay for everything myself.

I’m positive that this stay is going to improve my Chinese. Not only will I learn some Cantonese, but my reading skills will also improve. Unlike English-Chinese bilingual Beijing, in Zhuhai almost everything is in Chinese.

One thing is for certain – I’m going have a lot of fun.

And another thing too – I’ll become a better person. ;)
