A Day in the Life of Me
September 17, 2007 | Author: Carl Pei | Filed under: Zhuhai, Personal
Some people think I’m just fooling around here in Zhuhai. People are wondering how I can use so much free time. What free time? I’m working my ass off. As of now, I earn around 6x the local salary. Being me is hard, in a good way.
So here I present a how a day in my life can look like:
- 03:50 Starts watching Rush Hour 3 after finishing work, realizes what time it is and decides to sleep.
- 10:30 Loud knocking sound, probably neighbors renovating. Back to sleep.
- 10:35 Realizes that my door is being knocked. Jump out of the bed and into clothes and open the door. Some short retard with glasses asks me if I have plants in the apartment. I answer no and close the door. Back to sleep.
- 10:37 The guy is surveying the entire floor, woken up by knocking on my neighbors door. Turn on the computer and brush teeth.
- 10:40 Start answering emails while eating Nestle Strawberry Milk Stars.
- 10:41 See in an email that one of my YouTube videos got a new comment. Continues to watch random YouTube videos. Theres really some stuff so garbage it becomes fascinating on YouTube. This for instance.
- 13:00 Realize that I’ve wasted 2 hours and need to continue answering emails. Continue to watch YouTube videos.
- 13:10 Feel ugly, fat and unproductive and gets back to work. Answer emails, pack items, takes out trash, head off to post office and supermarket. Watches some more YouTube.
- 13:30 Actually leaves.
- 15:00 Back home, makes meal for first time in 2 months. Chicken breasts with salad and a peanut butter jelly sandwich.
- 16:00 Finishes food, dishes and takes a nap.
- 17:30 Head out to gym
- 19:40 Back, have Tuna Sandwitch with milk, orange juice, apple juice, water, bacteria yogurt shot and a vitamin pill.
- 20:00 Get to work packing, replying emails, surfing the net and chatting.
- 22:30 Eat 2 complete eggs and one additional egg white.
- 22:40 Work work.
- 23:00 Start watching movie
- 01:00 Back to work.
